PRESENTING OURÂ COLLEGE PROJECT
Hello, and welcome to my website. I am so excited that you have decided to stop by, as I have so much to tell you about my College Project. I have spent countless hours and sleepless nights putting together this project of mine, and I am very excited to share it with you. Keep reading on to find out more information.

OVERVIEW
Our Project explains about the operation of Acid Gas Removal Unit in Refining process of Oil and Gas industry. The scope of the project is limited to ‘Design of Regenerator and Re-boiler of AGRU’ (Amine gas sweetening).
This addresses the design and execution shortcomings which can be ultimately lead to poor sour gas treating and sulphur plant performance. Design-stage facilities can harken back to initial assumptions is simply not available. They can also arise from poor decision making, forced by project cost and pressures. To overcome these issues we have designed the Regenerator and Re-boiler column with standard specifications to meet the desired requirements.
PROJECT BODY
In our project we have determined the specifications of regenerator and re-boiler by using the standard specification of the equipment to meet the desired requirements.
Standard Engineering Process Design using American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Tubular Exchanger Manufacturers Association and American Petroleum Institute (ASME SEC VIII, TEMA and API 660) are followed strictly to achieve the exact size, pressure drop and various specifications of regeneration section.
Manual calculation is carried to find the sizing of shell and tube heat exchanger with its heat transfer properties as mentioned in ASME and it is validated using spread sheet.

DISCUSSION
We have designed the Regenerator and Re-boiler of AGRU with required temperature and pressure of Regeneration to obtain the desired specifications of treated gas with Hydrogen Sulphide content less than 40 ppm and Carbon dioxide content less than 3.5 % by volume on dry basis.
The regenerator column is to be maintained at Low pressure and high temperature to obtain the above desired specifications.

CONCLUSION
This is the conclusion of your project.
Although the processing of natural gas is in many respects less complicated than the processing and refining of crude oil, it is equally as necessary before its use by end users. The actual process used to separate oil from natural gas, as well as the equipment that is used, can vary widely.
The Gas Sweetening and Processing Field Manual provides engineers with the ability to understand and select the most efficient and cost effective method to fit their individual needs.
Thus perfect plant designing is to be done in order to handle these non-renewable resources in a safest and in preserving manner.
